AMIGUARD 451 is a two component, ultra-high build, solvent free, modified Amine cured epoxy coating specially designed as moisture tolerant coating on tidal and splash zone steel structure, tank lining in petroleum services and for protection of buried pipelines that it complies with requirements of BS- EN 10289 standard.
Specific Characteristics:
– Excellent adhesion to wet and damp surfaces
– Excellent chemical, mechanical and abrasion resistance
– Good compatibility with both sacrificial anode (cathodic protection) and impressed current systems
– Excellent water, grey water and crude oil immersion resistance
– Fast cure on cold, damp or wet pipe
